Modern Day Wife Presents Soirée En Blanc

The Modern Day Wife Summer Soirée En Blanc annual event, was an inspiring and joy-filled experience that left me feeling genuinely special. Surrounded by an amazing group of women, it was empowering to dress up, connect, and celebrate modern entrepreneurship in a space designed for us. One of the biggest takeaways was how many of the businesses had used the pandemic to pivot and grow online—some going fully virtual, others offering personalized style boxes, and many embracing AI in their marketing strategies to thrive in today’s digital age.

I felt completely spoiled by the generous samples from the brands and appreciated how inclusive their offerings were—whether it was gluten-free baked goods, beauty products, or advanced treatments like laser therapy. The focus on environmentally friendly and wellness-conscious products made it clear that this new generation of brands is not only smart but deeply thoughtful. Standout brands like Millionaire Morning Mamas helping women build wealth in just three years and Liverpool Los Angeles, offering stylish yet affordable fashion, truly captured the spirit of innovation and empowerment. It was a day of connection, celebration, and inspiration. The experience spotlighted the rise of purpose-driven brands embracing innovation, inclusivity, and wellness. It also reflected a larger shift toward businesses that lead with both heart and strategy.

To further highlight the heart behind the brands, we spoke to a few brands featured at the event and asked them a simple yet powerful question: “What drives your passion for work every day?” Their responses revealed the purpose and dedication behind the businesses that made the evening so inspiring.

President & CEO of Lumara Systems, Bill Wiedemann, shared,

“As an engineer, when I measured leading competitors and saw they were delivering just 1.1 milliwatts—while charging premium prices—it felt like a complete betrayal of basic engineering integrity. Clinical customers I work with refused to offer these devices to their patients because they knew the difference between flashy marketing and real results.
What gets me up every morning is proving that precision engineering can outperform hype. I’m passionate about being part of the 5% of companies that deliver on what we promise, rather than contributing to a billion-dollar industry built on inadequate products. We’re a small team based in San Jose, California, focused on doing things differently: creating red light therapy devices that actually work, backed by engineering excellence and integrity—not just aesthetics. Customers deserve real solutions, not expensive placebos. That’s what makes Lumara different.”

Epoch Lasers was also on site with interactive demonstrations of their laser therapy tools. Director of Sales & Training Kelly Martin told us,

“I love seeing people smile after their laser treatments. There’s often a sigh of relief, a sense of freedom from pain they haven’t felt in a long time. You can truly see the shift in their energy and overall well-being. That’s why I do what I do. I know I’m making a real impact in people’s lives.”

Twelve28rx joined the event to share their holistic approach to health and medicine. Founder Melanie Mancil reflected,

“What drives me in my work is watching dramatic generational shifts. I do many things in my practice, but my passion is teaching patients healthy lifestyle changes. We are bombarded with toxins... our food system is broken. But people don’t know what they don’t know. I love helping people lose weight and change their entire lifestyle—from sleep to micro-toxins. They then teach their husband or wife and children. It breaks generational poor lifestyle habits, and nothing makes me happier!”

Then, Studio Queen Hair founder Anastasia Love, who also spoke on the event’s Beauty and Wellness Panel, shared a message rooted in empowerment and transformation:

“Every day, my passion is fueled by the emotions I witness in my clients’ eyes the moment they see their transformation. It’s not just about beauty — it’s about the spark of confidence, the radiant smile, the feeling of being seen and truly beautiful. These moments are priceless.
In a world where we often forget to pause and feel joy, I get to create a reason for someone to smile, to feel desirable, empowered, and inspired. That energy is contagious — it motivates me to keep creating, to keep sharing, and to help others build a life as beautiful on the outside as it feels within.”

Quici Media Holdings, LLC also played a meaningful role in the evening. President Cara Quici of CARA shares how her personal journey fuels her creative drive:

“What drives my passion for the work I do every day is mainly the desire to succeed and tell my story, which can help others going through something similar. My current project—my album The Kronicles—also holds my family’s memories, which gives me the drive and inspiration I need to get up every day and continue living my life.”

Finally, Elite Home Staging brought a polished perspective to the event, as Founder & CEO Samantha Senia reflected on how purpose and design go hand in hand in her business:

“As a woman-owned business in a competitive and creative city like Los Angeles, my passion is fueled by the opportunity to blend design, strategy, and storytelling to help homeowners and real estate agents showcase properties at their absolute best. Every space has a story, and I love bringing that story to life in a way that helps potential buyers feel an emotional connection the moment they walk in. What keeps me inspired daily is the impact we make, not just in transforming homes visually, but in empowering sellers to get top value and move forward with confidence. As a woman entrepreneur, I also take pride in creating opportunities for other women in design and business, and contributing to a supportive, professional community in L.A.'s real estate scene.”

The event brought women from all over to Beverly Hills for a night filled with elegance, ambition, style, and real connection. Set against the luxurious all-white backdrop of the Sofitel, the evening featured inspiring stories from standout brands that reflected the heart of Soirée En Blanc. Together, these featured businesses painted a powerful picture of what it means to lead with purpose and uplift others through passion-driven work. The night ended with a stunning fashion show, where flowing silhouettes and bold designs came to life, leaving guests feeling included, inspired, and celebrated.

Spotlight sessions gave attendees the chance to hear from inspiring special guests, including TV and radio host Kerri Kasem, “Selling Sunset” star Davina Potratz, and “Million Dollar Secret” star Sydnee Falkner—while an exclusive VIP experience on the Sofitel rooftop featured a Parisian-style picnic hosted by Christine Harmon of NFL Wives and Anna Weber, founder of LA Social Moms.
