WHO IS JESUS REALLY?

The most popular name in all of history, yet many are still unsure of who He really is. He is not just a prophet. He is not just a good teacher. He is our Lord and Savior, God’s one and only Son, sent to us and for us to give us access to Heaven and a relationship with God.

Some are swayed by other spiritual counterfeits, but they are not the truth. They are imitations created by the enemy to try to keep humanity from truly being saved.

The following message of truth I share is from our Pastor Mark Francey of Oceans Church. He shares: “Maybe you have a generic belief in God, but you’ve never surrendered your life to Jesus Christ. Not all gods are God. There is one God. There are a lot of little “g” gods, but there’s only one big “G” God.

“How can you say that?” you ask. “There are churches and beliefs everywhere.” It’s because Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father but through Me.” You see, friend, He’s not a way — He’s the way. And I know that’s offensive to some people, but I’m just telling you the truth, and I would rather do that on this side of eternity before it’s too late for you to know the truth and decide accordingly.

Here’s an analogy: Not every taxi will take you to LA. Not every flight will take you to New York. Not every train will take you to Vegas. Different beliefs will take you to different destinations. We don’t earn salvation — we receive it. It’s the gift of God to us.”

PRAYER OF SALVATION 

Jesus, today I invite you to be my Lord and my Savior. Jesus, heal me, forgive me, fill me up from this day forward. Teach me to pray. Give me a love for your word. Give me a local church to call home, so I can become a disciple in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
