Angel House Where Faith In Action Meets the Fatherless

Angel House is an organization founded by Lindsay Russo in her early twenties, at a time when many recent college graduates are pulled into the hamster wheel of keeping up with the Joneses or consumed with what “they” want to do in their own lives. Lindsay was seeking God and asking how she could partner with the Holy Spirit to make a supernatural impact in the lives of orphans who could not help themselves.

In 2010, at 23 years old, we went to India as part of a humanitarian trip. There, the Lord impressed upon my heart while I was in India that there was this group of children we were going to be able to build a house for, a group of orphans. I knew that God was going to do it. I didn’t know how, but I knew that God would.”

The need she witnessed was overwhelming: children without shelter, without security, without someone to call family. But instead of shrinking back, Lindsay stepped forward in faith. She did not have a blueprint. She did not have the funding. But she had conviction and trust that God would make a way for her to help these children. That courageous step of obedience became the foundation of Angel House.

What began with one home has grown into a movement marked by courage and compassion. Today, Angel House serves in five countries, with 425 homes and more than 11,000 children living in safe environments built through faith and generosity. Each home stands as evidence that action, when rooted in conviction, multiplies impact.

The vision Lindsay saw years ago, people linking arms as far as the eye could see, is now visible in the sponsors, churches, and partners who have stepped into the mission. It is no longer just a vision. It is a global community united around one purpose: to bring stability, belonging, and hope to children who once had none.

Angel House continues to build more than structures. It builds futures. Through education, emotional support, and community integration, children are given the opportunity not just to survive, but to thrive. What began in the bold faith of a young woman has become a powerful movement transforming thousands of lives around the world, with a vision to expand that impact into the hundreds of thousands in the years to come.
